Présentation narrative

David Lombard a réalisé son doctorat en littérature (2024) en tant qu’aspirant FNRS entre l’ULiège et la KU Leuven (« American Anthropocene Sublimes: Rhetorics and Narrations of Self and Environment in the Contemporary U.S. Ecobiographical Memoir »). Il est l’auteur de Techno-Thoreau: Aesthetics, Ecology and the Capitalocene (2019) et de plusieurs essais, ainsi que le co-directeur de deux revues sur le pastoral (Ecocene, 2021) et le sublime (Ecozon@, 2025) dans l’Anthropocène. Son projet postdoctoral FWO (2024-27), « The Twenty-First-Century Schizophrenia Memoir and Graphic Memoir: A Rhetorical-Narratological and Multi-Actor Materialist Approach », étudie les formes, fonctions et relations de mémoires sur la schizophrénie au 21ème siècle. Les projets de David Lombard oscillent entre l’écocritique et les humanités médicales, explorant la mémoire des lieux, des paysages et des catastrophes environnementales, et analysant la mémoire subjective et fragmentée de l’expérience de la maladie.
